Sep 2007. We had limited time ashore and requested to be met as early as
possible. It was with great joy that we were greeted by “Dennis” of Kusadasi
holding a sign having our name. In a short time we were under way in a very
clean, comfortable van that easily accommodated the five of us with a smooth,
cool ride and large windows to see sights. Dennis spoke English very well. We
had an outstanding tour of Ephesus and places along the way. This private tour

"Sorry for the delay in
getting back to you but the holidays make things so crazy. We had the time of
our lives. The tours were beyond our expectations. Our guides for both trips
were waiting on the pier for us. The Vans were roomy, beautiful and thankfully air
conditioned. We were brought into the city centers where the larger tour buses
were not allowed due to their size. It was amazing the knowledge of our guides
and their English was wonderful.
We started with Villefranche, John Luke just
seem to know it all. We saw sites of art and John Luke guided us through the
history of each as if he were there. Oh and the perfume factory was amazing, of
course I could not leave without purchasing some, I wear it and it takes me
back to France. We went to a wonderful local restaurant, the food was great and
even though there was a line we were seated within moments, thanks to John
Luke.
Then there was Florence and Pisa.
Our guide Stefano was wonderful. There was so much art, and the history that
Stefano gave us was amazing. Stefano took us to a little cafe for lunch where
we got a taste of local Italian cuisine which was absolutely delicious.
Both our guides spoke English well
and were so knowledgeable of the areas we toured. We would have never
experienced all that we did without their expertise, and knowledge.
I can not
thank you enough for the memories you gave us that all of us will cherish

was go-go-go most days and we actually got overloaded with ruins and history,
if you can believe it. As for the tours;
Monaco was excellent- we changed our
itinerary at the last minute to include St. Paul rather than time at the
casino. Our guide, Antonin?, was very accommodating and he was a delight as a
guide. He gave us as much or as little time as we desired at each stop and was
a wealth of information. He even managed a stop at the post office in Monaco on
our way back so we could mail some postcards. Grade-A
Florence- Our guide (a
young woman whose name escapes me) was also wonderful. She was very informative
and we ran her ragged in Florence with our different destinations and desires.
She was up to the task and was perfect in her timing and her suggestions of
what to see and how best to see it. Grade- A+
Athens - Our guide here, Helen,
was very good. She was very informative and we saw so much in one day. Her only
fault is she was almost too "intellectual". She was very detailed
about things, especially in the museums. I don't know that I should call this a
fault, for she was incredibly informed and wanted to share all of her knowledge
with us. We were all in "information overload" and tired by the end
of the day. I would recommend her for future tours. Grade-A-
All in all, the
tours went perfectly. All were on time and the vehicles and guides were as good
or better than expected. Thank you for booking these tours for us. I will

"The Vatican was just
incredible. Our guide dropped us off to meet our Vatican guide. She had just a
wealth of knowledge about the Vatican. We could have spent the whole day there.
I was just amazed by how much she knew. If I went back, I would definitely
request her. She was above and beyond what we expected. By end of that tour, I
felt like she was one of our friends! I think we might have spent an hour
longer there than expected, but she kept in contact with our other guide to let
him know where we were. After we were done with that it was time for lunch. Our
guide wanted to take us to a place away from all the tourists restaurants. He
took us to an Italian restaurant that had the best pasta we all have ever had
in our lives. We are still talking about it! We then went to the Trevi Fountain
and then it was time to go back to the ship. It was hard to take the ship tours

of the tours, tour guides and itineraries. The buses were there waiting, the
