The port town of Argostoli sits on the west coast of the island and serves as the starting point for all our Argostoli shore excursions. The pier only has one berth for cruise ships - if another ship is already in port, yours will anchor nearby and you'll tender to the old pier.
Our Beautiful Cephalonia tour lets you sample local wine, visit one of the island's monasteries, take a boat cruise on a cave lake, and enjoy free time in a local resort town. Our Wonders of Cephalonia tour visits the impressive Drogarati Cave along with a boat ride on the Melissani Cave Lake and the resort town of Sami, while our Folk Museum and Melissani Lake tour combines the island's Folk Museum with Melissani, plus stops at the Lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi, the Acquit WWII Memorial, and Myrtos Beach. Most ships are only in port 7 to 8 hours, so all our Argostoli tours are half day options - if your ship stays longer, we can combine two tours into a custom itinerary.
