What size groups do you accommodate?

We accommodate groups of any size, from 2 people in a private sedan to large groups of 50+ in full-size coaches. Every tour is customized to your group's size and needs.

Can each person in the group pay separately?

Yes. Each group member can pay their own share through our individual payment system. There is no need for one person to collect money from everyone.

How much is the deposit to secure a group booking?

We require a low deposit to secure your booking. Final payment is due 30 days before your departure date.

How far in advance should we book a group tour?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak travel season from May through September. We can often accommodate shorter lead times depending on destination and group size.

Can we customize the itinerary after booking?

Yes. Our travel planners will work with you to adjust the itinerary as needed before your departure date.

Do you provide guides at each destination?

Yes. We arrange professional local guides at each destination who are knowledgeable about the area's history, culture, and attractions.

What types of vehicles are available for group transportation?

Can you coordinate with our cruise ship schedule?

Can you handle our size?

Yes - any size.

Private sedans for 2. Minivans for 3-8. Minibuses for 9-16. Full coaches for 17-50+. Multiple vehicles travel together so your group is never split up.

Will we make it back?

Guaranteed.

Group tours require a $100 deposit per tour. Final payment is due 30 days before departure. Additional deposit may be required for entrance fees.

We meet you at the ship

Your driver and guide are at the port when you disembark. You're back well before departure.

Common Questions

Can we customize the itinerary?

Yes - fully. Tell us what you want to see, what you want to skip, and how fast or slow you'd like to move. Your guide adapts throughout the day.

What if someone in our group has limited mobility?

Let us know when you inquire. We select vehicles that accommodate folding wheelchairs and mobility scooters and will flag any sites with significant walking or uneven terrain.

Can we book multiple ports on the same cruise?

Absolutely - and many groups do. One inquiry covers all your ports. We coordinate each stop and you deal with one contact throughout.

How early should we book?

As early as possible for peak season (May through September). That said, contact us regardless - we can often accommodate shorter lead times depending on the port.

Do you work with travel agents?

Yes. Travel agents are welcome to inquire on behalf of their clients. Contact us to discuss agency arrangements.

Ken Diaz did a great job arranging shore excursion for my group of 17 in Marseille and Genoa. Our guides, Stephanie in France and Armida in Italy, were very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Overall, we had a great experience.

We had a wonderful trip and I want to thank you for helping us with the private tours in France (Toulon and French Riviera). The guides were punctual and knowledgeable, in addition to nice and friendly. I will definitely recommend you if I get a chance and no doubt will contact you for assistance with our next trip (a couple of years away... but already thinking about it!). I have been meaning to get in touch and letting you know that all private tours were right on time even though after reconfirming from the hotel in Copenhagen my German phone never worked, so I was a bit concerned how it would work out but they were all there, were professional and helpful and with the three boys it was the best decision I made about the whole trip to have the private tours. I knew this cruise would not be the perfect itinerary for teen age boys but I think the guides we had made it work, adjusted the programs tour over the city rather than the city tour as it would have given the boys a thrill and me the kind of overview of the city one could not get from a car. I dont mean it complaining, it is more hindsight on my part.I would recommend Private tours to anyone with a small group, as the flexibility and advantage of passing all the long long line ups for all the larger groups and sneaking in ahead of them was worth alone the extra cost. On top of it the flexibility was just priceless for the boys.I have less good things to say about the cruise line, found the ship not well organized and not at all helpful for anyone not wanting their tours and giving the rest of us wrong information about landing procedures at least 12 the time.Well, I have learned a lot and even though I will never be a total cruise fan, the baltic itinerary is really very informative if one prepares oneself as there was little or no advanced information on the destination ports given to us from the ship itself.So, thanks for your helpful service, I would recommend booking private tours to anyone!! You are welcome to quote my recommendation if needed.

European cruise & Private Shore Trips were great! Dennis was our guide for Ephesus & he was out of this world! We were all so impressed with how he handled himself & his knowledge (not only about Ephesus, but everything). Diane could not really go with us on the tour due to the steps, etc. (she was in the minibus & thought she could walk without trouble, but then realized she was having a problem). Dennis had the driver take her to a few places to pick up some gifts & just explain to her about the area & that was so nice. The place he picked for lunch was out in the county & was one of the highlights of the tour (out of this world)! He is outstanding & everyone kept talking about him at dinner later in the evening. I will use you again, also I have told my friends about Private Shore Trips & that your company is one they can trust.
