"Just got back
from our vacation in Europe and we did have a nice tour in Malta. Danielle, our
tour guide in Malta, was very nice and we were able to see the church and the
palace in the afternoon. The church was really gorgeous. It was just so hot in
Malta on that day, so a little bit tiring for us but overall, we enjoyed all
the tours. Capri, Ephesus and the Athens and Cape Sounion were great. Our best
regards and gratitude to Agustino for Capri tour, Melina for Athens & Cape
Sounion tour and most of all, to Sami for Ephesus tour. They were all

wonderful time. Thanks for asking. Stranka (spelling?) was great. She was very knowledgeable
and also kept it interesting and fun. Everyone thought she was the best tour
guide we had. We also appreciated that she shared some of her stories from the
war as it added a much more personal point of view.
One thing that happened
that we regret is that we all jumped off the bus at the last stop. He had
already driven away when we realized we would not see the driver again, thus we
lost the opportunity to give him a tip.
We all felt bad about
that situation. Maybe an idea for future tours is for the tour guide to let us
know before we leave the bus that that is the last opportunity to thank the
driver. It is also possible that Stranka did let us know but with some many new
things it didn't sink in until too late. We did tip Stanka generously but felt
bad for the driver. Please pass on our comments as he did a great job, also.
We will definitely
contact you for future tours and appreciate how organized and smoothly all was
handled."

"I have been
meaning to get in touch and letting you know that all private tours were right
on time even though after reconfirming from the hotel in Copenhagen my German
phone never worked, so I was a bit concerned how it would work out but they
were all there, were professional and helpful and with the three boys it was
the best decision I made about the whole trip to have the private tours. I knew
this cruise would not be the perfect itinerary for teen age boys but I think
the guides we had made it work, adjusted the programs accordingly and the only
exception would have been the Russian guide. But then St.Petersburg was from
the start the most challenging city and I wish we could have done just a 1/1/2
hour heli tour over the city rather than the city tour as it would have given
the boys a thrill and me the kind of overview of the city one could not get
from a car. I don't mean it complaining, it is more hindsight on my part.
I would recommend
Private tours to anyone with a small group, as the flexibility and advantage of
passing all the long long line ups for all the larger groups and sneaking in
ahead of them was worth alone the extra cost. On top of it the flexibility was
just priceless for the boys.
I have less good things
to say about the cruise line, found the ship not well organized and not at all
helpful for anyone not wanting their tours and giving the rest of us wrong
information about landing procedures at least 1/2 the time.
Well, I have learned a
lot and even though I will never be a total cruise fan, the baltic itinerary is
really very informative if one prepares oneself as there was little or no
advanced information on the destination ports given to us from the ship itself.
So, thanks for your
helpful service, I would recommend booking private tours to anyone!! You are
welcome to quote my recommendation if needed."

"Glad you asked
because our driver guide, Pierre, really did a great job. I am one to complain
when a complaint is due and I do not hold back. Just the same I really enjoy
giving a compliment when a compliment is due and I feel it is a must because
Pierre really deserves it. We were late because we missed our scheduled tender
due to my elderly mother taking a long time to get ready that morning. Pierre
patiently waited for us, he was not upset or anything. His van was clean and,
even though it is Europe and a lot of people there smoke, his van had no smell
of cigarettes. We did have another driver in Europe not booked through your
company that had a terrible cigarette smell in the car. As simple as this may
sound, it is important for us Americans because smoking is not so much a part
of our culture anymore and we are no longer accustomed to the smell.
Anyway, Pierre drove
safely but really tried to make up for lost time so we could make the most of
the day. He reminded us to put on our seatbelts, he really tried to give us the
most scenic drive and explain the region. We never waited on him when we were
ready to go. He was very polite and kind to all of us. His English was perfect
and he spoke Spanish perfectly so sometimes he would speak in Spanish to us as
well.
He wasn't miserly about
the time, like some other drivers we had, he just wanted us to have a good
experience. We can honestly say he was the best driver and one of the most
educated drivers we had of all of our ports of call and we really enjoyed our
day trip with him.
