Shanghai Shore Excursion - This full day shore trip explores Shanghai, known as the Paris of the Orient. Shanghai is a combination of both traditional Chinese and Western cultures making it the perfect gateway to China.

After meeting your guide at the Wusongkou Cruise Terminal you start your journey driving into the city. Your first stop is the Yuyuan Garden where you enjoy a classical Chinese garden which has been here for over 400 years. These beautiful gardens are located near the City God Temple and dates back to the Ming Dynasty (late 16th century).

Next you explore one of Shanghai's main tourist landmarks, the Bund. You will enjoy a stroll along this waterfront promenade on the banks of the Huangpu River. The area is popular both day and night and is one of the spots in the city where there are height restrictions for buildings therefore offering wonderful city views.

You will enjoy an "included" lunch at a typical Shanghai restaurant.

After lunch you ascend to the top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to enjoy the panoramic view of modern Shanghai. While you are at the TV Tower you also pay a visit to the the Shanghai History Museum.

Before going back to the port you enjoy a stop in Xintiandi to soak up the atmosphere of Shanghai's chic shopping district.
