Copenhagen Segway TourDuring this one hour Segway tour of Copenhagen you will see some of the city's top sites such as the Little Mermaid, the Citadel, the Opera House, the colorful Nyhavn and the Amalienborg Royal Palace.
This tour starts at the Langelinie Quay Pier (see notes below). You are asked to arrive 15 minutes before your private tour for check-in and training. No need to worry if you have never ridden a Segway before. You will receive private instructions from your guide and then have time to practice on the training grounds. You are in good hands with Denmark's only officially authorized Segway Tour Operator.
After training, you start your Copenhagen tour by riding along the pier in a no-car zone, it's a great way to use Segways and also see the iconic sights. Your guide will help with photos at major sites such as the Little Mermaid. On your Segway you drive through the unique Citadel and right up on to the square in front of the Royal Palace.
This is not just a Segway ride with photo stops, it is also a private guided tour. Each person will have a helmet and headset so that you can hear your guide provide information while riding. In one hour, you will see much more than you ever could on foot.
The tour ends back at Langelinie Quay pier where you will be offered a complimentary organic beverage and a Segway Souvenir.
Meeting Location for this Copenhagen SegwayTour: Langelinie Quay Pier - This tour departs from the Langelinie Quay Pier. If your ship arrives at the Ocean Quay or the Nordre Toldbod Piers, the meeting point is a 5-10 minute taxi away. A map will be provided with your confirmation. You are asked to arrive 15 minutes before your set tour time for a check-in meeting / orientation. Therefore if you are arriving by ship we recommend selecting a start time at least 1.5 hours after your ship arrives in Copenhagen to allow time for taxi (if needed) and orientation.
Important Information for this Copenhagen Segway Tour: Minimum Age - 14 Years of Age (14 - 17 years with an adult)
Weight Restrictions - All guests must be between 35kg and 125kg (80 and 275 pounds)
Minimum Height - 135cm (4.5 feet tall)
Shoes: No heels (wear flat comfortable shoes)
Mobility: NO wheelchairs
Liability: You will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the tour as you ride the Segway at your own risk.
Other: Pregnant women should not participate. Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied participation.
Weather: Unless considered a hazard, the tour takes place in warm, cold or wet weather. Please dress in layers. Rain ponchos are provided if needed.
