This half day Cannes shore trip visits some of the most exclusive places in the Riviera including Antibes (famous for yachts), the medieval village of St Paul de Vence (famous for artists) and Cannes, home to luxury shopping and the yearly Film Festival.
After meeting your driver guide at the pier in Cannes, you drive to Antibes and the very famous Cap d'Antibes, which is considered the most exclusive area of the Cote d'Azur. You'll see the private port of billionaires and walk past their massive luxurious yachts. You'll have a chance to stroll on16th Century ramparts along the sea side and meander through the local covered market. The Chateau Grimaldi, which sits above the town, was used as a studio by painter, Picasso.
Your next stop is the Provincial hilltop town of Saint Paul de Vence. This medieval jewel has long been known for its artists and it is where many painters and actors live today. You can walk the town's medieval walls and through its narrow and crowded main street to enjoy the many art galleries and boutiques. If you are interested in modern art you can consider a stop at the Maeght Foundation Gallery or the Chapel of the Rosary.
Finally, you visit Cannes where you'll drive up the step streets to the "suquet", the heart of the old town, where you have views over the whole city. You'll stop so you can stroll the beautiful Croisette Boulevard, lined with 5 Stars hotels, designer boutiques and the Cannes Film Festival Palace which gives Cannes its renowned "Hollywood" atmosphere.
