This 4-hour private tour follows Mallorca's northwest coast, known as the Costa Norte, through three of the island's most scenic villages.
You depart Palma and pass through Valldemosa on the way to Deia, a village built into the hillside above the Mediterranean. Along the route, you stop at Son Marroig, a clifftop estate with one of the most photographed views on the island, looking out over the sea from high above the coastline. In Deia, stone houses climb the hillside toward the church at the top of the village, largely unchanged for generations and long a magnet for painters and writers. The coves below the village offer a quiet break from the road.
From Deia, you continue to Soller, a town set in a valley known for its citrus orchards. The town's centerpiece is the Church of Sant Bartomeu, built between 1688 and 1733 in the Baroque style on the site of an earlier medieval church, and given its striking facade in 1904 by architect Joan Rubio i Bellver, a disciple of Antoni Gaudi. You'll also pass the Modernist building housing the old Banco de Sa Nostra branch, echoing that same architectural period.
From Soller, you board the historic wooden tram for the short ride down to Port de Soller, a harbor town wrapped around a horseshoe bay. You have a short amount of free time to sample local treats before the drive back to Palma.
Folding wheelchairs are welcome on this tour; some sites may not be fully accessible. Please contact us in advance so we can plan accordingly.
