Marseille Shore Excursion

This Marseille shore trip allows you to taste the wines of the Chateauneuf du Pape Region. You enjoy a visit to the appellation of Chateauneuf du Pape including a visit to the winery with tastings and a chance to explore the hilltop village.

After meeting your driver guide in Marseille you start the drive to Chateauneuf du Pape, which is located in the heart of Provence, north of Avignon. Your stop is a local winery from the Chateauneuf du Pape Region. While you are there you learn about local wine production and of course a highlight is a wine tasting which is accompanied by Provencal snacks such as olives, olive oil, bread, etc.

After your wine tasting experience there will be free time for lunch.

Following lunch you will visit the hilltop village. In the village you have the time to explore, shop or do additional wine tasting (not included in tour price) in the local cellars. All of the local Chateauneuf du Pape wineries are represented in the local cellars. If you are interested in shipping wines back home, it is possible to do it here.

Later this afternoon you return to Marseille.
