This 6-hour Villefranche shore trip includes a private van and driver-guide, with free time in the old town of Nice, the exclusive enclave of Cap d'Antibes, and along the Croisette in Cannes.
After meeting your driver-guide at the pier in Villefranche, you travel along the old port of Nice and around Castle Hill, a rocky outcrop that once held a medieval fortress until Louis XIV's forces demolished it in 1706. From there, the longest beach on the French Riviera comes into view. Once in Nice, you drive down La Promenade des Anglais, the famous palm tree lined street that parallels the beach, and enjoy free time in the Old Town to walk through the flower market (closed Mondays, when a flea market takes its place).
Leaving Nice, you continue along the coastline to Cap d'Antibes, considered the most exclusive area of the Cote d'Azur. You will see the private port of billionaires and walk past their massive luxury yachts, with time to stroll the 16th century seaside ramparts or browse the covered Provencal market.
