St Tropez Shore Excursion

This St. Tropez shore trip combines a visit to the resort town of St Tropez and the charming Provencal hilltop village of Gassin where you enjoy a wine tasting and great views of the Gulf of St. Tropez. It's the perfect itinerary if you have a full day available.

After meeting you driver guide you start your tour of the world famous resort city of St Tropez. Glitz never looked as good as it does in this popular resort. Saint-Tropez is a Riviera myth that everyone dreams about; a small fishing village, where colorful alleys have been lined with designer boutiques. The village remains an unavoidable destination building upon its own legend. St Tropez is home to the stars, streets of artists, caf̩s and haute couture shops winding down to the picturesque port .The harbor teems with life. Luxurious Yachts are moored alongside fishing boats.

If you are interested in art, you can visit the Annonciade Museum. The museum is a former 16th century chapel which has been turned into an impressive collection of paintings by neo-impressionist artists.

Before leaving St Tropez you have free time for lunch (meal not included).

This afternoon you depart for Gassin. On the way, you drive around one of the most beautiful bays of the Riviera and then through the charming village of Ramatuelle.

Gassin has all the features of an old Provencal town including; narrow winding streets and alleyways with vaulted arches and serpentine stone doorways, abounding in brightly colored flowers overhanging window boxes at every turn. This old village is in complete contrast to the lower lying seaside resorts because its hilltop location offers panoramic views over the Gulf of Saint Tropez and the Wine Country.

While you are in Gassin you will enjoy a wine-tasting at the Chateau, where a sampling of three wines are provided. Here you discover the quality and the wide variety of wines and learn how to evaluate a Cote de Provence wine, its color, its bouquet and its aromas.

At the end of your wine tasting, you return to St. Tropez with a smile on your face!
