This special
Rotterdam tour is only available in the Spring when the famous Tulips of Holland are blooming. You visit the famous Keukenhof Gardens which is dedicated solely to Tulips.
After meeting your private guide you depart for the Keukenhof Gardens which are located in the town of Lisse. Your drive will take many scenic roads so you can enjoy the countryside while seeing dikes and one of Hollands famous windmills. Before arriving at Keukenhof gardens you will enjoy a photo stop at some of the large farms which grow the tulips.
Once you arrive at Keukenhof, you will enjoy the 70 acre park which consists of gardens and greenhouses dedicated solely to Tulips. As you walk along the footpaths you will understand why this is said to be the greatest flower show in the world. In fact there are over 8 million bulbs planted each year.
While you are in the park you also have time to enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants or coffee shops.
Later this afternoon you return to the pier in Rotterdam.
