This
Rotterdam Shore trip includes a panoramic tour of the Hague, a lunch break at the beach resort of Scheveningen and the highlight is a visit to the medieval village of Delft including the Royal Delft Pottery Factory.
After meeting your guide you drive to the Royal Delft Pottery Factory. This factory is the only remaining factory of the 32 earthenware factories that were established in Delft in the 17th century. You will watch and learn as artisans create new pieces of this beautiful local craft.
Following this visit you enjoy a guided walking tour of medieval Delft including a visit the magnificent Market Square.
Late this morning you depart for the popular beach resort of Scheveningen. You can stroll on the long pier which extends well into the Baltic sea, enjoy a walk on the promenade which is lined with shops. While you are here there is also free time for lunch (meal not included),
Later this afternoon you enjoy a driving tour of Hague, the third largest city in the Netherlands and the seat of the Dutch Government. You will see the Parliament House, the Queen's Palace, the International Court of Justice and more. Your guide will explain the events which take place at the Peace Palace and the ICJ.
At the end of the tour you are brought back to the port.
