St Tropez and Gassin with Wine TastingThis full-day tour is built for guests who want real time in St Tropez itself before heading into the hills, rather than choosing one or the other. Your driver guide starts the day in St Tropez, the fishing-village-turned-legend that became a global name after Brigitte Bardot filmed And God Created Woman here in 1956. You explore the harbor, where working fishing boats moor alongside superyachts, and the colorful lanes now lined with designer boutiques and cafes. If you are interested in art, the Musee de l'Annonciade is worth a visit: a 16th century chapel built in 1548, converted into a museum in 1955, holding an outstanding collection of Pointillist, Nabi, and Fauvist paintings from the years when Paul Signac and other avant-garde painters worked from St Tropez's harbor. You have free time for lunch on your own before leaving town. In the afternoon you drive around one of the Riviera's most scenic bays and through the village of Ramatuelle to reach Gassin, a hilltop Provencal village of narrow streets, vaulted archways, and window boxes spilling over with flowers, with panoramic views over the Gulf of St Tropez and the surrounding Cote de Provence vineyards. At a local chateau you sit down for a guided tasting of 3 wines, learning how to read a Cote de Provence wine by color, bouquet, and aroma, before your driver returns you to St Tropez. Please note - This tour is not suitable for wheelchairs due to Gassin's narrow, uneven streets. Please contact us for alternative options.

It is a former 16th century chapel, built in 1548 and converted into an art museum in 1955, known for its Pointillist, Nabi, and Fauvist paintings from the early 1900s avant-garde scene centered on St Tropez's harbor.
Is this a lot better than the shorter Gassin tour?
It covers the same Gassin visit and wine tasting, plus a real morning in St Tropez itself with free time for lunch, so it suits guests who want both rather than just the village and vineyards.
How many wines do we taste?
Three, at a family chateau in Gassin, with guidance on evaluating a Cote de Provence wine by color, bouquet, and aroma.
Is lunch included?
No, but you have free time in St Tropez at midday to get lunch on your own before continuing to Gassin. Also Available: ›Gassin with Wine Tasting - If a full day is more than you need, this 6-hour tour covers the same Gassin visit and wine tasting without the St Tropez morning.
›St Tropez & Port Grimaud - For a shorter version that swaps Gassin for the canal town of Port Grimaud, this 6-hour tour covers St Tropez and Port Grimaud instead. Our Back-to-Ship Guarantee Every excursion returning 1.5 hours before departure is covered. If we are late, we cover your costs to reach the next port. More info ›
