Copenhagen Hotel to Copenhagen Cruise Port Transfer

Start your vacation on the right foot with a private transfer from your hotel to your cruise ship. Private transfers include a vehicle with a professional English-speaking driver and space for one large suitcase and one personal item (backpack or purse) for each person. The type of vehicle used is based on the number of people in your private group.

Note: Bringing additional luggage or additional waiting time will be at your own expense. If you need additional space for luggage, please contact us in advance for a quote.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, our Copenhagen transfers can be customized to fit your needs. If you have a larger group, we can offer you a private Copenhagen transfer using a mid-size bus or full-size coach. Please contact us with any questions or to receive a customized quote.

Luggage Allowance

Each person may bring one large suitcase and one personal item — backpack, purse, or carry-on. If you have additional bags, oversized items, golf clubs, or mobility equipment, please contact us before booking so we can arrange the right vehicle.

Vehicle size is matched to your group — sedans for 1-2 passengers, minivans for 3-6, and minibuses for 7-8. All are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and licensed for private transport.

How long is the transfer from a Copenhagen hotel to the cruise port?
The drive from central Copenhagen hotels to the cruise port takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic and your hotel location.
Where do I meet my driver at the hotel for my Copenhagen tour?
Your driver or guide will be waiting either just outside the main entrance or inside the lobby, sign in hand with your group's name.
How early should we depart our hotel for the port?
Your cruise ship will recommend a time that you should check in for embarkation. Let us know what time you would like to arrive to the ship and we will recommend a pick up time from your hote.
Do I get my money back if my ship skips Copenhagen?
A Copenhagen cancellation made 15+ days before the tour date is refundable, less a $50 fee. Inside 14 days of the tour date, cancellations become non-refundable. One exception: if your ship simply doesn't call at Copenhagen because of weather, mechanical issues, or political unrest, you'll get a full refund less the $50 fee. All cancellation requests need to be submitted in writing by email.
Where should I look for my driver after disembarking in Copenhagen?
Cruise Ship: Your first step off the ship at Copenhagen is to find the terminal's main public exit. Terminal building present? Walk through arrivals to the public pickup zone outside, with cruise staff able to point the way. No terminal building? Your driver's already waiting dockside. If you don't spot your contact right away, hold your position near the exit and call the dispatch number in your confirmation. Hotel: Look for your driver or guide right outside the main entrance or in the lobby -- they'll be holding a sign with your group name. Airport: Once you've collected your luggage and cleared customs, head into the arrivals hall -- your driver or guide will be there holding a sign with your group name.
What happens if I need to cancel after entrance tickets are purchased for Copenhagen?
For Copenhagen tours, entrance fees are included exactly where the tour page lists them. Keep in mind some venues require timed, skip-the-line tickets that become non-refundable the moment they're purchased. We'll flag any non-refundable entrance fees for you at booking.
Can the vehicle handle large suitcases for Copenhagen transfers?

Our guides were all - the best was michel (spelling may be off) in DEnmark. he was knowledgeable, personable, friendly - all you would want in a guide. i highly recommend.  Copenhagen, London, Dover and Portland were all amazing - a must to visit we were a group of 8 - cousins and spouses - 4 couples.

I have been meaning to get in touch and letting you know that all private tours were right on time even though after reconfirming from the hotel in Copenhagen my German phone never worked, so I was a bit concerned how it would work out but they were all there, were professional and helpful and with the three boys it was the best decision I made about the whole trip to have the private tours. I knew this cruise would not be the perfect itinerary for teen age boys but I think the guides we had made it work, adjusted the programs tour over the city rather than the city tour as it would have given the boys a thrill and me the kind of overview of the city one could not get from a car. I dont mean it complaining, it is more hindsight on my part. I would recommend Private tours to anyone with a small group, as the flexibility and advantage of passing all the long long line ups for all the larger groups and sneaking in ahead of them was worth alone the extra cost. On top of it the flexibility was just priceless for the boys. I have less good things to say about the cruise line, found the ship not well organized and not at all helpful for anyone not wanting their tours and giving the rest of us wrong information about landing procedures at least 12 the time. Well, I have learned a lot and even though I will never be a total cruise fan, the baltic itinerary is really very informative if one prepares oneself as there was little or no advanced information on the destination ports given to us from the ship itself. So, thanks for your helpful service, I would recommend booking private tours to anyone!! You are welcome to quote my recommendation if needed.
