This 6 hour private tour is built for guests who want sun, sea and island scenery rather than another walking tour. Croatia's Adriatic coastline faces Italy and is one of the most indented in Europe, with more than 1,000 islands, islets and reefs along its length, and a combined coastline, including islands, of roughly 3,600 miles. The climate is similar to Italy's, with over 300 days of sunshine a year and clear Adriatic water.
Your licensed guide meets you at the pier and transfers you to a private fishing boat for a relaxing cruise to the Elaphite Islands, a small chain just northwest of Dubrovnik. Only three of the islands are inhabited: Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan. Today's itinerary includes all three.
In Lopud, your guide leads a walking tour of the island, which has no motor vehicles. You will see lush vegetation and stone houses surrounded by gardens of palm, cypress and lemon trees. From there you continue to Kolocep and Sipan, with the itinerary flexible to your preference for swimming, snorkeling, a short hike, or simply relaxing with local food.
Mobility: this tour does not accommodate wheelchairs.
Please note: this tour runs best during the summer months, from May through September. Wear casual clothing or swimwear. Towels, snorkeling gear and food are not included.
If this itinerary does not fit your plans, our Dubrovnik shore excursions can be customized. For larger groups, we can arrange a private tour using a mid-size bus or full-size coach. Contact us with any questions or for a custom quote.
