Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Hotel Transfer (CPH)

Start your vacation on the right foot with a private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Copenhagen. Private transfers include a vehicle with a professional English-speaking driver and space for one large suitcase and one personal item (backpack or purse) for each person. The type of vehicle used is based on the number of people in your private group.

Note: Bringing additional luggage or additional waiting time will be at your own expense. If you need additional space for luggage, please contact us in advance for a quote.

Airport Arrivals: Your driver tracks your flight and will be waiting for you after you've collected your luggage and cleared customs. Please provide your airline, flight number, and arrival time when booking, and let us know as soon as possible if your flight schedule changes.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, our Copenhagen transfers can be customized to fit your needs. If you have a larger group, we can offer you a private Copenhagen transfer using a mid-size bus or full-size coach. Please contact us with any questions or to receive a customized quote.

Luggage Allowance

Each person may bring one large suitcase and one personal item — backpack, purse, or carry-on. If you have additional bags, oversized items, golf clubs, or mobility equipment, please contact us before booking so we can arrange the right vehicle.

Vehicle Types

Vehicle size is matched to your group — sedans for 1-2 passengers, minivans for 3-6, and minibuses for 7-8. All are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and licensed for private transport.

Total Transfer Time

Plan on approximately 30-45 Minutes.

Airport Arrivals

We recommend scheduling your pickup 90 minutes after your flight’s scheduled arrival time. This allows enough time to deplane, collect your luggage, and clear customs. If your flight is delayed, your driver will monitor the flight and adjust.

Child Seats

Child seats are available on request, subject to availability. Please let us know at the time of booking if you need one and we will do our best to have it ready.

Adding a Stop

This is a direct transfer. If you’d like to spend a few hours exploring along the way — the colorful Nyhavn harbor, Tivoli Gardens, or the Little Mermaid statue are all worth the detour — contact us and we can put together a custom itinerary and quote.

Larger Groups

For groups that exceed our standard vehicle capacity, we can arrange additional vehicles or a larger coach. Use the group request button on this page or contact us with your group size and travel date for a custom quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will my driver know when I've landed?
Provide your airline, flight number, and arrival time when booking. Your driver tracks the flight and waits for you after you've collected your luggage and cleared customs.
What if my flight is delayed?
Let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust your pickup accordingly.
Do I need to provide my hotel address in advance?
Yes. Please provide your hotel name and address when booking so your driver can plan the route in advance.
What if I need to cancel my Copenhagen excursion last minute?
As long as you cancel your Copenhagen tour 15 days or more in advance, you get a refund minus $50. Inside 14 days of the tour date, cancellations become non-refundable. One exception: if your ship simply doesn't call at Copenhagen because of weather, mechanical issues, or political unrest, you'll get a full refund less the $50 fee. All cancellation requests need to be submitted in writing by email.
What's the pickup process for a Copenhagen tour?
Cruise Ship: When you get off the ship in Copenhagen, look for the terminal's main public exit. If a terminal building is present, go through arrivals to the outdoor pickup area -- cruise staff will help direct you. If not, your driver will be waiting right on the dock. Can't find your contact? Stay near where you exited and call the local dispatch number on your confirmation. Hotel: Look for your driver or guide right outside the main entrance or in the lobby -- they'll be holding a sign with your group name. Airport: Once you've collected your luggage and cleared customs, head into the arrivals hall -- your driver or guide will be there holding a sign with your group name.
Are museum and site tickets included in the Copenhagen tour price?
You'll find entrance fees bundled in for Copenhagen tours where the tour page states it. Keep in mind some venues require timed, skip-the-line tickets that become non-refundable the moment they're purchased. We'll flag any non-refundable entrance fees for you at booking.
What if we have extra bags for our Copenhagen transfer?
The standard allowance for Copenhagen transfers is one large suitcase and one personal item per traveler. Anything beyond that -- flag it for us ahead of time.

Our guides were all - the best was michel (spelling may be off) in DEnmark. he was knowledgeable, personable, friendly - all you would want in a guide. i highly recommend.  Copenhagen, London, Dover and Portland were all amazing - a must to visit we were a group of 8 - cousins and spouses - 4 couples.

I have been meaning to get in touch and letting you know that all private tours were right on time even though after reconfirming from the hotel in Copenhagen my German phone never worked, so I was a bit concerned how it would work out but they were all there, were professional and helpful and with the three boys it was the best decision I made about the whole trip to have the private tours. I knew this cruise would not be the perfect itinerary for teen age boys but I think the guides we had made it work, adjusted the programs tour over the city rather than the city tour as it would have given the boys a thrill and me the kind of overview of the city one could not get from a car. I dont mean it complaining, it is more hindsight on my part. I would recommend Private tours to anyone with a small group, as the flexibility and advantage of passing all the long long line ups for all the larger groups and sneaking in ahead of them was worth alone the extra cost. On top of it the flexibility was just priceless for the boys. I have less good things to say about the cruise line, found the ship not well organized and not at all helpful for anyone not wanting their tours and giving the rest of us wrong information about landing procedures at least 12 the time. Well, I have learned a lot and even though I will never be a total cruise fan, the baltic itinerary is really very informative if one prepares oneself as there was little or no advanced information on the destination ports given to us from the ship itself. So, thanks for your helpful service, I would recommend booking private tours to anyone!! You are welcome to quote my recommendation if needed.
