Nice, Monaco & Eze Shore Excursion from Cannes - 8 HoursThis full day Cannes shore trip visits the most popular coastal towns on the French Riviera: Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo and the hilltop village of Eze. Your driver-guide takes you to the old towns of Nice and Monaco, the Grand Prix route and Casino of Monte Carlo, and the medieval streets of Eze, with free time built in for lunch. After meeting your driver-guide at the pier in Cannes, you drive along the famous Croisette Boulevard, lined with five star hotels, designer boutiques and the Cannes Film Festival Palace, then continue along the coast to Nice. In the old town of Nice, you walk through the flower market (closed Mondays, when a flea market takes place instead) and drive along La Promenade des Anglais, the palm tree lined street that parallels the Riviera's most famous beach. From Nice you continue to the Principality of Monaco, where you have free time to explore the old town, see the guards outside the Prince's Palace, and step inside the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried. Please note that bare shoulders and shorts above the knee are not permitted inside the Cathedral. Your driver-guide then drives the route of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit before your stop in Monte Carlo, home to the Casino of Monte Carlo. Designed by architect Charles Garnier, who also designed the Paris Opera, the casino opened in 1878 and its performance hall was inaugurated in 1879. The building sits across from a park lined with designer boutiques and luxury hotels, and the cars parked outside, Bentleys, Ferraris, Aston Martins, are often as much a spectacle as the building itself. Your final stop is Eze, a pedestrian only medieval village perched 427 meters above the sea, the highest seaside village in France. You can browse the boutiques, stop for an ice cream with a million dollar view, or visit the nearby Fragonard perfume factory if you would rather not make the walk up the hill. At the end of the day, your driver-guide returns you to the port in Cannes. Please note - During the Grand Prix Events there is a 50% supplement and it is not possible to visit Monaco or Monte Carlo from June 4-7, 2026. Please contact us if you are interested in a tour during this period.
- About the Casino of Monte Carlo - The Casino of Monte Carlo is open to tourists for viewing from 10 AM until 12 noon. During this period the entry fee is 20 Euro per person and no gaming is open. From 2 PM onwards the casino is open to individuals (not tour groups) and a formal dress code is enforced. During this period an entry ticket is required to access the gaming areas, including the slots, craps and Black Jack tables. You must show your passport to buy the ticket, and 10 Euro of the ticket price is returned to use at the slot machines or at the bar. Everyone must be 18 years or older and have their passport available.

Official visitor information for Monaco and Monte Carlo Official Website Most Popular Tours from Cannes Tours & ExcursionsFrequently Asked QuestionsDoes this tour include St Paul de Vence like the Monaco and Villefranche versions? No, this Cannes departure doesn't include St Paul de Vence. The extra distance from Cannes means the 8 hours go toward Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, and Eze instead, with free time built in for lunch at one of the stops rather than an additional village. Where do we actually get lunch? It's not scheduled at one fixed restaurant. You'll have free time at one of the stops, commonly Nice, Monaco, or Monte Carlo, to choose lunch yourself, meal not included in the tour price. Do we go inside the Monaco Cathedral? Yes, where Princess Grace is buried, along with the Royal Palace grounds. The Cathedral does enforce a dress code, no bare shoulders or shorts above the knee. What's actually different between this and the 6-hour Riviera Highlights tour from Cannes? The 6-hour version has you choose between Nice or Eze. This 8-hour version includes both, plus more free time in each stop and the Monaco Cathedral, so it's the better pick if you don't want to choose. Is this a private tour, and will we be back for the ship on time? Yes, private throughout, and you're covered by our Back-to-Ship Guarantee for your return to Cannes. Also Available: ›Riviera Highlights
- For a shorter day, this six hour tour covers Monaco and Monte Carlo plus your choice of Nice or Eze rather than all four stops.
›Hilltop Riviera & Wine Tasting
