Budapest Day Trip

This Budapest day trip visits the famous Danube Bend where you have the chance to visit the charming Artist's Village of Szentendre. After time to explore the village you also enjoy a photo stop at the Visegrad Fortress to enjoy stunning views of the Danube.

After meeting your guide at your Budapest hotel or Danube River cruise ship, you drive to the picturesque baroque village of Szentendre. Once you are there your guide will lead you through the narrow cobblestoned streets which are lined with small galleries, cafes, restaurants and museums.

Included is the chance to visit a Ceramic Museum where local artists works are on display. Also included is a yummy visit to the Marzipan Museum.

Before returning to Budapest you enjoy a photo stop on Visegrad Hill. The small town of Visegrad is located on the banks of the Danube River and was the hometown of King Matthias of Hungary. From the fortress you will enjoy some of the best views over the famous Danube Bend.
