Trieste's Maritime Station has two berths built to handle modern cruise ships, Berth 29 at 220 meters long and Berth 30 at 240 meters long, and the addition of a newer mooring structure known as the Dolphin allows the terminal to also accommodate ships up to 300 meters. The station sits inside a 9,900 square meter outdoor area with roughly 7,200 square meters of indoor space, all a short walk from the historic center.
