Civitavecchia Shore Excursion

This Civitavecchia shore trip is for those who want the most flexibility with their Rome itinerary. When you meet your driver guide you discuss your interests and the places you wish to visit. Your driver guide will help you maximize your time based on your desires and traffic conditions. Some people like this option so they can spend a lot of time in one location. Others like to try to see as much as possible in the time available.

Please note that this "Flexible Itinerary" includes a driver guide who provides commentary while you are in the vehicle and then you have free time in the stops of your choice. Your driver guide can make recommendations based on your interest. It is important to understand that with a flexible itinerary, we cannot guarantee you can see everything you desire in the amount of time you have chosen. Traffic conditions and weather ultimately affect the driving time to the places you wish to visit. If you decide you want to visit the interior of any sites, then you are expected to pay the applicable entrance fees in local currency.

We enjoyed our vacation so much and our private tours were wonderful! Katrine picked us up in Cannes and we had such an enjoyable day with her. She was a wonderful guide and she made our day so special! There were 8 of us with her that day and we all enjoyed the day -- it was one of our best on the trip! Then, when we were in Rome, we had Constantino who met us at the ship and 4 of us spent the day with him. He, too, was wonderful and so knowledgeable of the history of Rome. He was so flexible with changing some plans at the last minute and suggesting other things we might enjoy seeing. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch and made our day such a memorable experience! I cant say enough good things about our experience with the guides. We definitely would recommend Private Shore Trips and will be using your company again in the future. Our private tours were so much nicer than the tours we did with the ship!

I have to send you a BIG THANK YOU. My Cruise of a lifetime to The Holy Land on a 12 Night Cruise on Royal Caribbeans Odyssey of the Seas was the best and I have to say that because every port that we visited for 8 days straight were FANASTIC and all of the guides and bus drivers in each port were very good at what they do, very professional, very punctual and very informative. I will use your company always and I highly recommend you all to anyone looking for tours and excursions for any cruise. You all are THE BEST. Alessandra in Rome, Italy and Roni in Israel gave us the best tours. We are very grateful to them and all the others.
