Venice Hotel to Venice Airport Transfer (VCE)

End your Venice vacation the right way with a private transfer from your hotel to Venice Marco Polo Airport. Your journey begins with a private water taxi, carrying you from your hotel through the canals and lagoon to Piazzale Roma, the gateway where Venice's waterways give way to road transport. This private water taxi journey is a memorable final look at the city, offering scenic views of Venice's historic architecture and waterside palazzos as you make your way toward the mainland.

From Piazzale Roma, you'll continue by private vehicle with a professional, English-speaking driver for the remainder of the journey to the airport. This private transfer takes the stress out of navigating public transport or shared shuttles ahead of your flight, giving you a comfortable, direct route to the airport at your own pace.

Each private transfer includes the private water taxi from your hotel to Piazzale Roma and a dedicated vehicle with an English-speaking driver from there to the airport, with space allotted for one large suitcase and one personal item, such as a backpack or purse, per person. The vehicle provided is based on the number of travelers in your private group, ensuring a private, comfortable experience from your hotel all the way to the airport.

Luggage Allowance

Each person may bring one large suitcase and one personal item — backpack, purse, or carry-on. If you have additional bags, oversized items, golf clubs, or mobility equipment, please contact us before booking so we can arrange the right vehicle.

Vehicle Types

Vehicle size is matched to your group — sedans for 1-2 passengers, minivans for 3-6, and minibuses for 7-8. All are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and licensed for private transport.

Total Transfer Time

Plan on approximately 30-50 minutes total — roughly 15-30 minutes by water taxi to Piazzale Roma, then 20 minutes by road to the airport.

Child Seats

Child seats are available on request, subject to availability. Please let us know at the time of booking if you need one and we will do our best to have it ready.

Our trip was fabulous. Our flights were on time, the weather was great and the sites so amazing! Our tours and guides were excellent. I dont have their names handy but all were extremely knowledgeable and we loved their passion for their countries. Should we venture back to Europe we will definitely contact you again. We were 2 and a half hours late in arriving at the airport where we were to be picked up for a 4 hour excursion which was scheduled to end by 2pm but the tour operator allowed for an extension of the tour till 3pm without extra charge. We had good guides clean and fairly new vehicles. Itineraries were interesting and flexible.

Excellent service provided with clean and efficient vehicles. The driver was very professional, and got us to our destination in a timely manner. The water taxi driver found us, even though we were a block from the meeting place. You could tell that the company cared for their customers, and provided an excellent service and experience.

Ken Diaz the Group Reservation Manager of Private Shore Trips organized an amazing set of tourstransportation events for our group of 42 friends and family in MULTIPLE countries! Yes Italy, Greece & Turkey!! Or tour guides provided excellent connections with the entire group and gave a dissertation on the history of each location we visited.
