This full-day shore excursion from Antibes is the most complete of our Riviera tours, combining Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, and Eze in a single day.
After meeting your driver-guide at the pier, you drive along the coast toward Nice, passing seaside villas along the way. In Nice, you drive the Promenade des Anglais, the palm lined street along the city's famous beach, then have free time in the old town to walk through the flower market on Cours Saleya (closed Mondays, when an antiques market takes its place instead).
From Nice, you follow the Lower Corniche road along the rocky coastline into the Principality of Monaco, where you have free time in the old town to see the guards outside the Prince's Palace and visit Monaco Cathedral, where Princess Grace of Monaco is buried (bare shoulders and shorts above the knee are not permitted inside). You also have free time here or in Monte Carlo for lunch on your own. Your driver-guide then drives part of the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 circuit, pointing out several of its famous hairpin turns, before continuing into Monte Carlo, known for its casino, luxury hotels, and high-end car culture.
Heading back toward Antibes, your final stop is Eze, a pedestrian-only medieval village of narrow stone lanes clinging to a cliff more than 1,400 feet (427m) above the sea. A walk to the hilltop garden viewpoint at the top of the village rewards you with sweeping coastal views, and if the climb isn't for you, the adjacent Fragonard perfume factory offers an easier way to spend the time.
At the end of the tour, you return to Antibes along the Upper Corniche, the road that runs along the cliff tops above the sea.
