This
Sibenik shore trip visits Primosten, one of the most picturesque small towns on the Adriatic Sea. You will learn about rural life in the Dalmatia region and enjoy a local drink with snacks in the small village of Draga.
After meeting your private guide you drive about 20 miles southeast of Sibenik to a small peninsula where you find Primosten. The medieval town of Primosten will bring you closer to the Mediterranean way of life. During your time here you walk through narrow streets and enjoy old stone houses and churches. The village is surrounded by seven little islands and the walls around the town were built under the Venetian rule. The town is dominated by the Church of St. George, built in 1485, where the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary with silver adornments is kept. After a walking tour through time you have some free time to explore further.
Next is a visit to Primosten's Burnji Draga village. This area is well know for its vineyards and red wine named Babic. Here you have a chance to visit a Jurlinovi dvori. This grouping of simple stone farm houses make up a circle with an enclosed central courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard you find a stone table with stone benches and a vine trellis to protect guests from the summer heat. While you are hear you enjoy local snacks and drinks which are common from this region.
After delighting in snacks and wine you return to the pier in Sibenik.
