After meeting your English speaking driver you depart the hustle and bustle of big city Milan and in a short time you are traveling along the shores of Lake Como, one of the most fascinating and beautiful places in northern Italy. No wonder it is favored by Hollywood stars looking for a beautiful place to escape.

When you reach Bellagio you have about 3.5 hours of free time to stroll the tiny streets and alleys which are made of cobble stones and lined with boutiques selling typical Italian goods. Maybe you want to visit one of the famous villas which sits on the shore's edge. Take time to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the many restaurants with lakeside patios. Regardless of what you choose, you will certainly enjoy your stay and wish it could last forever.

Next you continue driving the lake's shores until you reach the town of Varenna, which is smaller than Bellagio, but just as rich in history and beauty. During your time you may choose to visit The Church of St. George (1313), Vezio Castle, or Villa Cipressi. Don't forget to take the easy Lover's Walk that runs along the water's edge from the town center to the harbor.
