Review Location- La Spezia Sunday, June 21, 2026 Reviewer: Sue Q from Allison Park, PA   Cinque Terre was beautiful although there was not a possibility of any boat views as tickets for the train had already been purchased. No mention as to the boat which was a possibility as you mentioned. The trains were convenient and we did a short hike up the trail for beautiful views. The tour was fantastic and our guide was lovely. The only problem though no ones fault is that 11 of us were stuck in an elevator for 40 minutes in the extreme heat! The Italian police and emergency response team were absolutely no help. Fortunately my husband and a few others went to the top and we were able to open the door one inch to allow for air. If that did not happen Im not sure we would have made it. When the Italian police got there to open the door they only took pictures of us! Ridiculous! Our lovely guide (who was in the elevator with us) was able to have the vans come to us to transport us back to the ship. Our guide did what she could under the circumstances and we tipped her well for the day as Im sure she did not expect the day to be so chaotic. Was this review helpful to you?

Review Location- La Spezia Wednesday, May 13, 2026 Reviewer: Bob S from Vestavia, AL   Ken Diaz the Group Reservation Manager of Private Shore Trips organized an amazing set of tourstransportation events for our group of 42 friends and family in MULTIPLE countries! Yes Italy, Greece & Turkey!! Or tour guides provided excellent connections with the entire group and gave a dissertation on the history of each location we visited. Review Location- La Spezia Sunday, November 16, 2025 Reviewer: JANE M from Colorado Sprints, CO   The Pisa & Lucca excursion was great.  Glad that we went to Pisa first. Our daughter and her family took the ships excursion to Pisa and Florence.  We ran into them in Pisa!  They did not have time to visit any buildings on the Field of Miracles but we did.  Good decision to avoid Florence. Review Location- La Spezia Tuesday, September 30, 2025 Reviewer: Linda H from Colton, CA   We had such a nice European trip and the best part of the trip was our private tour in France. Gregory was a great tour guide and I wish we would have had more private tours when we went to Italy for our tour in Rome. Gregory was prompt, courteous, very informative and had a great personality. He made the whole trip fun and exciting. I am not saying that just to give him a better review but all 6 of us agreed that he made the trip all the more worth while. Our tour of Florence was also incredible.  Lucca was a great guide and become more of a friend as the tour went on.  If we ever go back to Europe, I will keep your service in mind and will recommend your company to all my friends if they ever want to travel to Europe. Review Location- La Spezia Wednesday, September 3, 2025 Reviewer: Paula C from Chepachet RI   Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but the holidays make things so crazy. We had the time of our lives. The tours were beyond our expectations. Our guides for both trips were waiting on the pier for us. The Vans were roomy, beautiful and thankfully air conditioned. We were brought into the city centers where the larger tour buses were not allowed due to their size. It was amazing the knowledge of our guides and their English was wonderful.We started with Villefranche, John Luke just seem to know it all. We saw sites of art and John Luke guided us through the history of each as if he were there. Oh and the perfume factory was amazing, of course I could not leave without purchasing some, I wear it and it takes me back to France. We went to a wonderful local restaurant, the food was great and even though there was a line we were seated within moments, thanks to John Luke.Then there was Florence. Our guide Stefano was wonderful. There was so much art, and the history that Stefano gave us was amazing. Stefano took us to a little cafe for lunch where we got a taste of local Italian cuisine which was absolutely delicious.Both our guides spoke English well and were so knowledgeable of the areas we toured. We would have never experienced all that we did without their expertise, and knowledge.I can not thank you enough for the memories you gave us that all of us will cherish forever. I will most certainly contact you for future travel. I also told my family and friends that when they travel abroad they must contact you. Was this review helpful to you?

Review Location- La Spezia Thursday, August 21, 2025 Reviewer: Gloria W from Roselle, IL   We had a wonderful time! Our guide in Monte Carlo was an excellent guide and a real sweetheart. He was very knowledgeable, spoke and understood English perfectly - no trouble understanding him. He took very good care of us - we wish he could have traveled Europe with us. The Florence tour was also very nice. We had some difficulty understanding our guide, Diego. However, he tried very hard and did a good job showing us around. We are very happy to have chosen Private Shore Trips and I recommended you to other travelers we encountered. Hopefully they will use your firm for their future travels.
