They raved about the tour guide and said she was very knowledgeable. The only thing they would have liked was to eat lunch earlier, but they loved the restaurant that she took them too and were treated exceptionally well by the staff there. Review Location- Civitavecchia Friday, July 31, 2026 Reviewer: Adria U from Columbus OH   Jim and I couldnt have been more pleased to be greeted at the ship by Maurice and treated like royalty on our tour of Florence. He was just amazing with all the traffic and was able to get us into both the Uffizi and the Academia Gallery without any wait. He would get us to a tour site and would let us know where he would be at all times to pick us up. He showed us to a quaint local restaurant for lunch. Maurice was a pleasure as our guide and we would highly recommend a private tour with your company to others. Thank you again for making our European trip a pleasure. Was this review helpful to you?

Luca was friendly, informative and made the most of our short time in Rome. The entire family enjoyed him. Weve been on many private tours and Luca was the best we can ever remember. Our driver Luca was exceptional in making us feel part of his family. Our private Vatican guide Al was personable and made sure our tour was informative and fun. He knew every inch of the museums and shortcuts to get close to attractions, unlike larger tours. Luca took us to a restaurant for lunch..the food was amazing. Katrine picked us up in Cannes and we had such an enjoyable day with her. She was a wonderful guide and she made our day so special! There were 8 of us with her that day and we all enjoyed the day -- it was one of our best on the trip!Then, when we were in Rome, we had Constantino who met us at the ship and 4 of us spent the day with him. He, too, was wonderful and so knowledgeable of the history of Rome. He was so flexible with changing some plans at the last minute and suggesting other things we might enjoy seeing. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch and made our day such a memorable experience! I cant say enough good things about our experience with the guides. We definitely would recommend Private Shore Trips and will be using your company again in the future. Our private tours were so much nicer than the tours we did with the ship! My Cruise of a lifetime to The Holy Land on a 12 Night Cruise on Royal Caribbeans Odyssey of the Seas was the best and I have to say that because every port that we visited for 8 days straight were FANASTIC and all of the guides and bus drivers in each port were very good at what they do, very professional, very punctual and very informative. I will use your company always and I highly recommend you all to anyone looking for tours and excursions for any cruise. You all are THE BEST.
