Review Location- Sanary-Sur-Mer Sunday, June 7, 2026 Reviewer: John Nin from DENHAM SPRINGS , LA   This was the best tour that we had on our cruise. There was a total of 6 couples and Greg took care of all of us with another driver too. He was understandable, courteous, and very knowledgeable of Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice, & Eze. He was able to cover all of these sights within our timeline with the ship. The Norwegian Ship did not offer this excursion. Greg and his other driver stopped for many photo shoots. Review Location- Sanary-Sur-Mer Wednesday, May 13, 2026 Reviewer: Mumbai from New York   This is the first time I booked with Private Shore Trips and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to deal with true professionals that provide you with total peace of mind, whether it is regarding pre-trip planning or post-trip customer support. My husband and I went on a 2 shore excursions from Marseille into some of the towns.  It was really nice and the guides were very friendly. Was this review helpful to you?

Review Location- Sanary-Sur-Mer Tuesday, November 18, 2025 Reviewer: JANE M from Colorado Sprints, CO   MarseilleAvignon.  Another great excursion. Mary Helen, the owner of the excursion company, included a guide for us in Avignon.  The guide rode in one van from Marseille to Avignon but returned on her own.  Quite the talker.  We did not have to pay for her services but we did have to pay her guide entry fee which was 25 Euros.  We were able to expedite our entrance because we had a guide.  Well worth the 25 Euros.  With the extra 30 minutes added to the itinerary, we had just enough time at Pont du Gard.  I wouldnt mind going back to enjoy the river and float under the aquaduct.  I was amazed by all the swimmers and kayakers in the river. Review Location- Sanary-Sur-Mer Sunday, August 24, 2025 Reviewer: Maris L from Freehold, NJ   The Marseilles tour guide was probably the best and most professional. We were 10 so we had the mini bus. She had a mike hooked up so everyone could hear. She really gave us a sense of life in the region. She was informative and very pleasant and very interesting. Review Location- Sanary-Sur-Mer Monday, October 14, 2024 Reviewer: Jaclyn G from Mableton GA   Everything was wonderful. The guides were veryknowledgeable, cars clean and itineraries perfect. Everyone was ready to meet us when we got off the ship and my grandparents were very pleased with the minimal walking.Of specific note, Florence was spectacular. My grandparents have been to the city many times and commented that they felt as though this trip they truly saw it for the first time. Sylvias driving ability was impressive as she was able to squeeze into the tightest of spots and get us up close to everything. She navigated the city streets with ease, allowing us access to areas my grandparents had never reached due to limited mobility.My only negative comment is about the port of Marseille itself. Our guide was obviously very passionate about the city but we didnt find it that wonderful. I think she was disappointed when we asked to return to the ship after 3 hours instead of the full 4. Please know this was not her fault. In retrospect we would rather have spent the day shopping in the marina area. Live and learn! Was this review helpful to you?

Each and every one of our 9 trips was perfect. Your staff in Lisbon, Barcelona, Marseille, and Villefranche were excellent and very knowledgeable. The guidesdrivers were terrific with suggestions to keep the children in our group happy yet satisfy the adults. I truly appreciated your flexibility. Working with our group of 24 was a challenge and you rose to the occasion, especially when you alerted us to the cruise line change in itinerary saving our day trips. I particularly want to thank you for arranging the Flamenco Dancer Dinner and the birthday surprise for my 7 year old daughter. They took her on stage and had her dance with them. What an experience!
