Monaco shore trip is a popular excursion for those who only have a few hours available. Your driver-guide takes you to the old town of Monaco to see the royal palace of Monaco and the Cathedral. Then in modern Monte Carlo you enjoy a photo stop at the Garden of the Casino. Another highlight is a visit to the medieval village of Eze.
After meeting your driver-guide your first stop is the old town of Monaco. You enjoy some time on foot to see the exterior of the Royal Palace before strolling the tiny lanes filled with cafes and shops on your way to the the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried. Please note that bare shoulders and sport shorts are not permitted in the cathedral. If you have been to these places before, you might prefer some time in the exotic gardens of Monaco.
Leaving Monaco you drive on the Upper Corniche, the road which runs along the cliff tops high above the sea. Your next stop is Eze where you'll visit a typical French medieval village made up of narrow lanes and stone buildings. Eze clings to the cliffs over 1000 feet above the sea. You can walk to the top of the city's hill where a garden setting view point overlooks the sea. Take time to peak into the boutiques or enjoy an ice cream with a million dollar view. Visiting Eze requires the ability to walk uphill. If you cannot do the walk, you can enjoy the scents of Provence at the nearby Fragonard perfume factory.
Heading back to Monte Carlo you drive along the path of the legendary Grand Prix Formula 1 circuit. A stop at the gardens of the Casino allows you to experience the unbelievable luxury of this unique place! You will have time to see designer shops, luxury hotels and the famous Casino.
At the end of your tour, you can choose to stay here and get back to the pier on your own or the driver-guide can bring you back to the pier.
