Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The focus of this private excursion is visiting three different local markets where you can shop for treasures to take home. Prior to doing so you have a cultural visit to the former residence of a prominent pearl trader.

After meeting your guide at the pier in Dubai, you immediately depart for Sharjah. Upon arrival you enjoy a photo stop at the King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest in the Emirates.

A short drive brings you to the Heritage Museums district where you visit Bait Al Naboodah. This former residence of a prominent pearl trader of yesteryear is an excellent example of old world Gulf architecture. The various artifacts and displays will provide a rare glimpse into the life and times of a bygone era.

From here you walk to Souk Al Arsah, one of the oldest and most traditional Arabic markets which is located in an open air courtyard between residential neighborhoods. After a short time to shop you then walk to the nearby Iranian Souk (market). This is an open-air market with rows of shops selling nuts, spices and saffron imported from Iran by traditional wooden boats, called Dhows. Sharpen your negotiating technique here before driving to the final market. Souk Al Markazi. is a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry, handicrafts and much more where you can practice your well honed bargaining skills.

At the end of the tour you return to Dubai.
