Review Location- Izmir May 5, 2026 Reviewer: Shila H from Milton DE   The trip was wonderful but even better were your Private Shore Trips. We took two shore trips with the cruise line and were very disappointed!! The price was high, the guides were not that helpful or informative and we felt like we were a bunch of cattle being herded in and out within a designated time frame! All three tours that we took with Private Shore Trips were FANTASTIC!! The guides were very knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible and absolutely wonderful people. Since we got home we are telling everyone we know that when they cruise to take their off shore touring packages only from your company and NOT the cruise line. Whenever we cruise we will contact you to see if you have tours for our location. I cant thank you enough for making our vacation a real experience to remember. Everyone was there on time, flexible and informative. We could not have asked for more. I have given your e-mail address to dozens of friends and recommended the service. We are so, so, so glad we did not participate in any of the excursions for the cruise ship. The groups were too large and too impersonal. Thanks so much for all your work. We had a great time and your tour guides andor driver guides were fantastic! A special mention has to be given to Matilda from Naples..she was more than a tour guide! Review Location- Izmir May 5, 2026 Reviewer: Harold B from Mount Calvary, WI   We contracted for Izmir Private Tour, Option 3 on 12 Sep 2007. We had limited time ashore and requested to be met as early as possible. It was with great joy that we were greeted by Dennis of Kusadasi holding a sign having our name. In a short time we were under way in a very clean, comfortable van that easily accommodated the five of us with a smooth, cool ride and large windows to see sights. Dennis spoke English very well. We had an outstanding tour of Ephesus and places along the way. This private tour was everything we had hoped for and a superb introduction to Turkey. Dennis was extremely knowledgeable, polite, on time, organized and eager to please. He knew exactly where to take us so we could avoid time-consuming conflicts with other groups. The driver was outstanding too. He got us in and out of very tight areas and returned us to the NCL Jewel exactly on schedule. The tour was a truly memorable highlight of our entire cruise and we would highly recommend this private tour to anyone! Was this review helpful to you?
