TOUR DESCRIPTION
 
Rotterdam Shore Excursion - This excursion includes a panoramic tour of the Hague, a stop at the beach resort of Scheveningen, a visit to the medieval village of Delft including the Royal Delft Pottery Factory and a driving tour of Rotterdam.

After meeting your guide you drive to the Hague, the third largest city in the Netherlands and the seat of the Dutch Government. Upon arrival you enjoy a driving tour of the Hague where you will see the Parliament House, the Queen's Palace, the International Court of Justice and more.

Next you enjoy a stop at the popular beach resort of Scheveningen. You can stroll on the long pier which extends well into the Baltic sea, enjoy a walk on the promenade which is lined with shops and cafes or just relax and sample a Danish beer.

Next you drive to Delft to enjoy a tour of the Royal Delft Pottery Factory. This factory is the only remaining factory of the 32 earthenware factories that were established in Delft in the 17th century. You will watch and learn as artisans create new pieces of this beautiful local craft. Following this tour you have free time in the magnificent Medieval Market Square of Delft where you can enjoy lunch on your own.

Later this afternoon you enjoy a panoramic driving tour of Rotterdam where you see the juxtaposition of old world Europe and ultra modern architecture. At the end of the tour you are brought back to the port.
