In the the old town of Nice you have some free time to walk through the beautiful flower market. If you visit on a Monday the market is closed and instead there is an open air flea market.

Prior to leaving Nice, you drive through the district called Cimiez where famous museums such as the Chagall and Matisse are located. This area is also home to some ancient Roman ruins.

Finally you take the quicker freeway route back to the port of Cannes.
