General Terms
Travels with Friends works with local tour operators in Europe to offer you private tours and shore excursions. By submitting a reservation for a private tour you are accepting the Terms and Conditions below.
CONFIRMATION- When your tour is confirmed you will be sent a written confirmation via mail or fax. You are responsible to review it and make sure that all of the details are accurate. Travels with Friends cannot be responsible for inaccurate information once you have accepted the confirmation. If you are on a cruise, you will be met at the pier by your driver - guide who will have a sign with your name on it.
ITINERARY- Please remember that your private tour has flexibility. If there is a specific sight that is a “must see,” please let your driver - guide know at the time of pick up. Please understand that neither Travels with Friends nor your driver can be responsible for traffic delays.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Travels with Friends is acting only as an agent for suppliers in selling travel related services which are not directly supplied by Travels with Friends. This travel agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. This travel agency shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social, or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel agent's control. Travels with Friends recommends that all travelers purchase independent travel insurance to protect against any of the above.

GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION: The law of the Belgium applies. The tour member must bring any legal action against the local guides in Brussels at the place where they have their registered offices.
CANCEL OR NO SHOW: The tour is 20% non refundable once it is confirmed. Cancellations or no shows within 21 days of the tour are 100% non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation within 7 days you will be responsible to contact the local guides. If your Belgium port is cancelled due to poor weather, mechanical problems or political unrest, the local guides will honor a FULL refund!

SERVICES- Prices include transportation in a non-smoking, air-conditioned minibus or mid size bus with an English speaking driver guide. The fleet of 8 passenger vehicles include Hyundai Satellites and Opel Vivaros. The 15 passenger bus is an Opel Movano. Driver guides provide commentary for the driving portions of your tour but you enjoy free time on foot.
PRICES: Prices are shown in Euro and are subject to change until confirmed. Prices include toll fees, gas and parking. Prices do not include entrance fees to sights, meals or optional tips. Stops for meals are included in your tour time.

France - Marseille
SERVICES- Prices include transportation in a non-smoking, air-conditioned minibus, mid size bus or coach with an English speaking driver guide or licensed guide. The fleet of 8 passenger vehicles include Volkswagen Caravelle, Mercedes Viano, Hyundai Satellites, Renault Trafic and Opel Vivaros. Licensed guides are able to offer walking tours and tours inside historical sights and museums. Driver guides provide commentary for the driving portions of your tour but you enjoy free time on foot. Please note that the city of Marseilles is experiencing major road construction in 2007 and your driver can adjust the itinerary to meet the tour schedule if delays occur.

LIABILTY: The local guides’ liability toward the tour member, under the contract to travel, for losses other than physical injury is limited to three times the travel price, provided that:
a) No injury was caused by gross negligence or intent, or
b) the local guides are liable for the tour member's losses exclusively due to the fault of a service provider.
CLAIMS: The tour member must make any claim against the local guides for failure to perform travel services in accordance with contract within one month of the date on which the tour is due to end. Whether a complaint is made in time depends on the date on which it is received by the local guides.
GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION: The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The tour member must bring any action against the local guides in Berlin at the place where they have their registered offices.

Your licensed guide joins you on foot and in historic sites or museums. Water taxi seat a maximum of 10 guests and gondolas a maximum of 5-6 guests. Groups will be divided accordingly.

SERVICES- Guide Chauffeurs are trained about their city or region so that they can provide commentary during the walking or driving portions of your tour. However guide chauffeurs do not provide tours inside historical sights or museums. Licensed Guides have the utmost training as required by their government. A licensed guide is fully trained to offer commentary on driving tours plus provide walking tours and tours inside historical sights and museums. A licensed guide must carry their license badge whenever they are offering their services.

Prices include transportation in a non-smoking, air-conditioned sedan, minibus or mid size bus with an English speaking chauffeur guide or licensed guide. Prices include toll fees, gas and parking. VISA FREE ENTRY- With these private tours, our partners in Russia provide everything you need to satisfy Russia's entry requirements. You will NOT need to purchase a separate Russian Tourist Visa.
With the Visa-Free Entry Voucher our partners in Russia provide, you are required to depart and return to the port with the tour we have organized for you. You do not have the option to stay in St. Petersburg and return to the ship on your own. Visa-Free Entry Vouchers are sometimes called a "blanket visa".
Travels with Friends and our partners in Russia cannot be responsible for denied access into Russia based on personal background reasons such as, but not limited to a criminal conviction.

PAYMENT- A credit card (Visa or MasterCard ONLY) is required to confirm your reservation, with payment processed 21 days before your tour. We suggest that you notify your credit card company of the upcoming transaction to avoid a "decline notification." If your card is declined we reserve the right to cancel your tour. Travels with Friends is not responsible for cancelled tours due to non-payment.
CANCEL OR NO SHOW: The tour is 20% non refundable once it is confirmed. Cancellations or no shows within 21 days of the tour are 100% non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation within 7 days you will be responsible to contact the local guides in Spain. If your Spain port is cancelled due to poor weather, mechanical problems or political unrest, the local guides will honor a FULL refund!

Turkey
SERVICES- Prices include transportation in non-smoking, air-conditioned minibuses, mid size buses or coaches. All tours include a driver and an officially licensed guide.
PRICES: Prices are shown in Euro and are subject to change until confirmed. Prices include toll fees, gas and parking. Entrance fees are per person and are to be paid in advance with the tour. Prices do not include meals or optional tips. Stops for meals are included in your tour time.
