Le Havre, France- This extended private day trip from Le Havre is the most popular choice for those people who have not been to Paris before. The tour allows you to visit the famous Notre Dame Cathedral plus see the other major highlights of the city on an extensive driving tour with photo stops.

After meeting your driver and private guide at the pier in Le Havre you drive directly to Paris. Upon arrival in Paris you are dropped off along the Seine River and then you walk across some of the city's famous bridges to reach the popular island named Ile de la Cité. This is the founding site of the city and also the home to the Notre Dame Cathedral. Your guide will give you information about the Cathedral before you have time to enter and view this landmark's interior. Please note that guides are not allowed to provide commentary inside the cathedral.

Following the Notre Dame visit you have free time to enjoy lunch on your own.

This afternoon is an extensive driving tour with photo stops to allow you to see many of the city's top sights. You will see the Place de la Concorde which is a perfect expression of the Louis XV style, designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1755, and completed over a period of 20 years.

No trip to Paris would be complete without a stop at the Eiffel Tower, which is Paris' most famous symbol which opened in March 1889 for the Universal Exhibition.

The tour takes you along the banks of the Seine river featuring famous bridges such as Alma, Alexandre III and Pont Neuf, plus the Conciergerie, which was once the prison of Queen of France, Marie Antoinette.
