Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo & Eze

Starting from Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo or Villefranche

First stop Nice, where you'll drive along La Promenade des Anglais, the street that runs along the most famous beach in the Riviera.  You will have a chance to walk through the famous flower market (closed Mondays) in the old town and see the largest Russian Cathedral outside of Russia.  Next you'll stop on Castle Hill, where the Greeks first arrived and where you can admire a beautiful view over the beach, the old town and the port of Nice. 

Leaving Nice you follow the Low Corniche which  hugs the dramatic rocky coast line to the unforgettable Principality of Monaco. Your first stop is the old town of Monaco.  Here you'll have a chance to see the changing of the guards in front of the royal palace (at noon) and the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried.  Time is available to walk along the tiny streets, do some shopping and enjoy lunch. 

Next you'll follow the path of the legendary Grand Prix of Monte-Carlo Formula 1 circuit.  A stop in the modern city of Monte Carlo allows you to experience the unbelievable luxury of this unique place!  You will have time to see designer shops, luxury hotels and the famous Casino. 

Your final stop is Eze where you'll visit a typical French medieval village made up of narrow lanes and stone buildings.  Eze clings to the cliffs over 1000 feet above the sea.  Walk to the top of the city's hill where a garden setting view point overlooks the sea.  Take time to peak into the boutiques or enjoy an ice cream with a million dollar view.  If you are not up to walking, why not enjoy the scents of Provence at the adjacent Fragonard perfume factory? 

You'll return to your port along the Upper Corniche, the road which runs along the cliff tops high above the sea. 
 
Notes on the Casino - The Casino in Monte Carlo requires a passport for entry.  The casino offers several different rooms.  The most basic houses slot machines and others hold various gaming tables etc.  The entrance fee is based on how far you want to go into the casino.  You should plan on 10 to 20 Euro per person entry fee depending on which rooms you plan on going into.  From noon to 4:00 PM there is no dress code for the 1st room only.  Any rooms after the first require coat and tie and all rooms require coat and tie after 4:00 PM.  Everyone who enters must be 21 or older.

Grand Prix Note- Due to the Grand Prix of Monte Carlo, tours cannot go into Monaco and Monte Carlo from May 19 - 20 and from May 24 -27. 

Tour Breakdown- The order of the tour may change based on your starting port and traffic conditions. The Mid Size Bus is only available for tours of 8 or more hours.
