Dover, England - This full day tour explores the world famous city of London. You enjoy a driving tour plus your choice to visit the interior of one of the following sites: British Museum, Tower of London, the London Eye or Madame Tussaud's.

After meeting your guide at the pier, you immediately depart for England's capital city of London. During the drive your guide will talk with you about the city's history. When you arrive in London you enjoy a driving tour of the major sites such as Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament with the famous Big Ben, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. The sites seen during your driving tour will depend on traffic conditions. Free time is allowed for lunch on your own or we can prearrange lunch in a local pub.

This afternoon you choose ONE of the following highlights. Please choose which site you would prefer to explore at the time of reservation. If you wish to visit a site not mentioned, please enquire.

• The British Museum is one of the most important museums in the world. As the British Empire once spanned much of the globe, so does this museum's collection, which includes works from prehistoric to modern times. With over six million objects, it is impossible to see it all. For many, the highlights include the ancient Egyptian and Greek galleries with the Rosetta Stone and the Elgin Marbles.

• The Tower of London is one of the most popular sites in London. Dating from the 11th century, this complex has been the seat of British government and home for her monarchy. It has also been a castle during times of war, a prison during unrest and the place of many executions. Today, the Crown Jewels are the highlight of a visit.

• London Eye is a the largest Ferris wheel in Europe and it is situated on the banks of the River Thames in central London.  The structure is almost 440 feet tall and offers panoramic views around the city while you make a single revolution in about 30 minutes time.

• Madame Tussaud’s is a landmark site in London. Popular with both adults and children, this wax museum is a Who's Who of world leaders, entertainment and sports stars and more. Maybe you've been longing to see Lady Diana, Elvis Presley or Brad Pitt? if so, you've come to the right place.

• Photo Stops. If this is your only chance to visit London then you may prefer to enjoy an extended driving tour with photo stops at some of the city's most famous monuments. With this option there are no interior visits.

After an exciting time in this world famous city you return to the pier in Dover this afternoon.
