Chan May Vietnam Shore Excursion - This full day tour visits the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, followed by the UNESCO Heritage town of Hoi An.

After meeting your guide at the pier you depart for My Son which is location in a lush green valley southwest of Hoi An. Upon arrival you will discover the dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries which date from the 7th to the 13th centuries. These partially ruined Hindu Temples were built by the Champa Kings and are dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva. After your morning visit to this interesting site you will continue to the heart of Hoi An.

Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years. Upon arrival you will enjoy lunch at Mango Mango, one of Hoi Ans best restaurants. You will enjoy original and creative cuisine that is best described as Vietnam-Latin American-Japanese fusion with a combination of refreshing flavors, beautiful presentations and a relaxing atmosphere. You will understand why this restaurant has won the heart of many loyal and happy customers.

After lunch you enjoy a leisurely walking tour of the ancient town center, which includes visits to the sites of former merchants homes, a 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and a Chinese Communal Hall.

After your walking tour you have about one hour of free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace. For many people, a rickshaw ride is the best way to enjoy this free time. After your Hoa An exploaration and free time, you will return to the pier and your waiting ship.
