This 4-hour Cannes shore trip visits two popular towns in the French Riviera. Your driver-guide takes you to seaside town of Antibes and the medieval village of St Paul de Vence. A short drive along Cannes exclusive Croisette Boulevard with the Film Festival Palace is also included.
After meeting your driver-guide at the pier in Cannes you start the journey towards Antibes by driving along the Croisette Boulevard, lined with 5 Stars hotels, designer boutiques and the Cannes Film Festival Palace which gives Cannes its renowned "Hollywood" atmosphere.
Your first stop is the very famous Cap d'Antibes, which is considered the most exclusive area of the Cote d'Azur. You'll see the private port of billionaires and walk past their massive luxurious yachts. You'll have a chance to stroll on 16th Century ramparts along the sea side and meander through the local covered Provencal market. The Chateau Grimaldi, which sits above the town, was used as a studio by painter, Picasso.
Your next stop is the Provencal hilltop town of Saint Paul de Vence. This medieval jewel has long been known for its artists and it is where many painters and actors live today. You can walk the town's medieval walls and through its narrow and crowded main street to enjoy the many art galleries and boutiques. If you are interested in modern art you can consider a stop at the Maeght Foundation Gallery or the Chapel of the Rosary.
At the end of the tour your driver-guide can bring you back to the pier in Cannes or if you wish, they can drop you off in Cannes old town and then you can make your way back to the pier on your own. The old town is about one mile from the cruise pier.
