About the Port of Zeebrugge - The port of Zeebrugge is a relatively new port by European standards. Originally there was a port in the town of Bruges, which is about 10 miles from the sea. Eventually the port of Bruges could not handle larger ships and therefore the seaport of Zeebrugge was constructed and a canal to bring goods to Bruges was built. Zeebrugge has a temperate maritime climate with mild summers and cold winters. Precipitation is expected throughout the year.
We offer Private Shore Excursions and day tours from the port of Zeebrugge to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels. Our private Zeebrugge tours include a private vehicle with a Licensed English Speaking Guide.
