Invergordon Shore Excursion - This relaxing excursion enjoys a ride through the Scottish Highlands on an old time steam train called the Strathspey Railway. In the afternoon you visit the Glenfiddich Distillery to sample local Scotch.

After meeting your guide in Invergordon, you immediately depart for Aviemore and the Strathspey Railway. Whether you remember the days of steam trains from yesteryear, or your era is "Thomas the Tank", everyone will enjoy this relaxing day in the Scottish Highlands. The round trip journey travels from Aviemore through Boat of Garten and Broomhill. While you travel through the spectacular scenery of Strathspey you can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks. The Strathspey Railway is run almost entirely by volunteers and their spirit of adventure means that you can experience the magic of a steam railway today.

After your train adventure you have free time for lunch (meal not included).

Next you drive to the world famous Glenfiddich working distillery to sample to their Scotch. On Christmas Day in 1887 William Grant watched proudly as the first spirit ran from the stills at Glenfiddich Distillery. Five generations later the distillery is still owned and managed by the Grant family. Glenfiddich is unique in the fact that it is the only Highland Single Malt that is distilled, matured and bottled at its own distillery.

After a day of adventure and cheers, you start the journey back to Invergordon.
