About the Port of Dubrovnik- The port of Dubrovnik has become a very popular cruise ship destination because the beauty of Dubrovnik's old town. It can be a bit difficult for cruise passengers to plan their time because there are two places where your ship might be located. The city's pier is located about 15 minutes from the old town. However, some ships are able to stay at sea and tender their guests directly to the old town. This decision is made by the port authoritarian according to how many ships are scheduled on any given day. enjoys a Mediterranean climate which includes warm to hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters.
